Pair of rare gilded bronze statuettes representing jean Baptiste colbert and it seems to me nicolas founquet. The two men are in typical clothes under louis xiv, colbert became intendant of finance in 1661 after the fall of nicolas fouquet. These bronzes are very fine and precise.
