Elegant Louis XV-style wall clock, 19th century.

Elegant Louis XV-style wall-mounted cartel clock with a graceful, flowing form and Rococo-inspired decoration. Adorned with foliage and flowers, its openwork design gives it a sense of lightness. The front features a large white enamel dial with Arabic numerals for the minutes and Roman numerals for the hours. The finely engraved gilded brass “Dauphin” hands add a refined touch.

The movement is original and strikes the hours and half-hours. The mechanism is stamped “Japy Frères – médaille d’honneur.” Its operation has been checked over several weeks. This is a very beautiful piece, extremely decorative and of high quality.
