Transition period walnut and marquetry commode with projecting front

  

Commode with central jump seat. Transition period (Louis XV - Louis XVI), mid-2nd half of the 18th century. Regional craftsmanship, with two drawers. Marquetry of burl wood and precious woods with geometric decoration and floral medallions on the top.

Some missing pieces (marquetry, bronzes), stains, restorations, hence the low price. Bronzes likely from the second half of the 19th century in the style of Louis XVI.

Three feet have already been restored, the rear right foot will require restoration. Dimensions: 90 x 105 x 57 cm. Price negotiable or direct offer.
