Stunning sideboard at support height in Boulle marquetry. It features a structure made of blackened wood adorned with a magnificent marquetry known as Boulle, combining red tortoiseshell and brass in a heavily decorated style reminiscent of Louis XIV. This piece opens with a door revealing 2 adjustable shelves. A beautiful bronze trim complements the whole (the gilding of the bronzes is altered). Finally, a black granite top crowns this beautiful piece.

It has been serviced by a cabinetmaker, and the marquetry is in very good condition. Period: Napoleon III, around 1860.
