Silver Pommel Cane in Rocaille Style, Art Nouveau Period. Very fine cane with a solid silver pommel, finely chased with Rocaille-style decoration, floral and foliated scrolls, enhanced by a blank cartouche. Amourette wood shaft, without ferrule. The pommel bears two hallmarks. Hallmark for solid silver guarantee: the boar’s head. Goldsmith’s hallmark to be deciphered. Art Nouveau period, late 19th to early 20th century.
