Announced in the Bibliographie de la France on January 6, 1837 for 6 francs, this edition, probably published at the end of 1836, has not been listed by Brivois, Vicaire, and Carteret. At the end of the volume: Historical, geographical, and mythological vocabulary of all the men, all the places, and all the fabulous deities mentioned in Telemachus and in the Adventures of Aristonou? This index was compiled by Mathieu Guesde. The work is illustrated with 6 plates (including 1 sometimes placed as a frontispiece) engraved in intaglio after compositions by Victor Adam.
There are also woodcut ornaments (headbands, initials, and tailpieces) some of which are designed by Victor Coindre, Louis Français, Alcide-Joseph Lorentz, and Louis Steinheil. Single print run of the plates.
Some unsigned woodcut ornaments are polytypes. Very nice copy, bound in contemporary aubergine morocco.
