The domed lid is delicately embellished with gold and metallic powder against a subtly shaded brown background. The graceful wisteria branches, cascading across the surface, symbolize enduring love and refinement in traditional Japanese art.

The floral motifs are executed with exquisite detail and naturalistic flair, characteristic of the refined aesthetics of the Meiji era. The design extends across the sides, framing a small black button clasp, unobtrusive yet functional.
