Murissoir for grape stalks Chasselat from the 19th century. Cylindrical metallic structure comprising rings, allowing for the placement of glass containers in which grape stalks were placed. Water was added along with a piece of charcoal. (The purpose of this was to keep the water clear.) This method allowed to nourish the grape stalk and continue its maturation. These bunches could be preserved until Christmas. These containers bear the inscription: ROSE CHARMEUX in THOMERY.
