Profane chasuble from the colonial 19th century

  
This chasuble would probably be a commission from a colonial officer dating back to the 19th century. Entirely embroidered with gold threads and coral beads, it is a remarkable work of finesse. One can notice the hood topped with a pompom. The mannequin on which this garment is placed is of small size (1m70).
