Pair of impressive wall sconces in finely chiseled and gilded bronze, in the Louis XVI style, made in the second half of the 19th century. Elegant composition with three light arms, adorned with a rich decoration inspired by Antiquity and royal decorative arts: ram's head in high relief, bearded mask with mythological inspiration, crossed quivers, garlands of vine leaves and bunches of grapes, acanthus scrolls, knots, and palmettes.

Work of great execution quality, probably from a renowned Parisian workshop active during the Second Empire. The original gilding is preserved in a beautiful warm patina.
