Pair of Gilt Bronze Candelabra from the Early 19th Century Empire Period. Superb pair of bronze candelabra. Finely chiseled and gilded, the bobeches adorned with palmettes, the shafts with fluting topped with a basket overflowing with fruits and foliage, all on a richly decorated base with palmettes, acanthus leaves on a scroll against an amati background, bead frieze, and ray of court. Period: Early 19th Century Empire. Original gilding in very good condition. These candlesticks are in excellent condition, complete, and of remarkable quality and finesse in chiseled work.
