Magnificent pair of Empire style armchairs featuring swans in solid mahogany and veneer. The armrests are carved from solid mahogany depicting swans, and the curved backrest is adorned with brass and blackened wood inlays featuring swans as well. The upholstered seat is in very good condition, with a green bronze velvet fabric. There are some repairs in the brass fillets. These chairs are part of a hallway furniture set that includes 6 lyre chairs and 1 guéridon, which we sell separately (see last photo and our gallery).
