Pair of Candlesticks with Caryatids in Bronze from the Napoléon III Era. A very beautiful pair of candlesticks. Made of bronze with two patinas (gilded and brown), the shaft is in the form of caryatids representing women dressed in antique style, standing with arms crossed, wearing on their heads a finely chiseled binet with floral motifs simulating a jar. Mounted on a circular base in gilded bronze adorned with a stylized frieze. Napoléon III period around 1860.
