Pair of Angels Cherubs in Prayer, Cast Iron Sculpture from the 19th Century

  

Superb weathered patina for this pair of cast iron sculptures representing kneeling angels or cherubs in prayer. Beautifully crafted with very fine details and a beautiful molding of the material. The angels are depicted kneeling in prayer with long wings on their backs. The patina is original, with several layers of chipped paint.

They were likely garden ornaments, probably from the Val d'Osne foundry. Approximate weight of each sculpture is between 10 and 15 kg. Dating from the 19th century. Shipping via carrier, 50 euros in France, 100 euros in the EU, and 200 euros for the rest of the world.
