Petroleum Lamp in Empire Style from the 19th Century. Very pretty oil lamp from the Napoleon III era with a cobalt blue cut crystal reservoir, placed on an elegant Medici-shaped vase in silver-plated copper, finely chiseled and pierced with scenes of Ancient Greece, supported by chimeras. The whole is supported by a quadrangular base surrounded by a frieze of laurel leaves between two rows of pearls, resting on four small ball feet. The oil lamp is in good overall condition. Wear to the silver-plating in some areas.
