I propose for sale, this superb solid silver carving set from the late 19th century in beautiful overall condition. It consists of a carving knife, a fork, and a leg handle all kept in its original shaped case. The three pieces are adorned with the Minerva 1st title hallmarks and the master goldsmith Dreville and Labie, active in Paris from 1888 to 1890. Very beautiful Louis XVI style decorations characteristic of the "Neo Louis XVI-Empress" style initiated by Empress Eugénie under the Second Empire from the 1860s.
