2978 - Large silver sugar spoon 925/1000 - 19th century. Dating from the early 19th century (Restoration-Charles X period), this large spoon, known as a sugar spoon, is made of solid 925/1000 silver and is in good condition. The bowl is finely crafted, as is the handle with its delicate chased decoration.

It bears the old man hallmark, Paris first standard mark (octagon with a right-facing old man’s head and the number 1 on the right), the large Paris guarantee mark (round with a left-facing Ceres head), and a partially illegible goldsmith’s mark. Length 214 mm x 68 mm.
