Beautiful incense burner, carved on the lid of the Fo lion, male holding the Xiù Qiú pearl in his right paw. The receptacle features several birds or bats in full flight, the handles are shaped like elephant heads, resting on four legs folded on a circular base. Chocolate-colored steatite, carved and polished, with some tiny chips in places, ancient patina of time and signs of use, nice overall condition see the photos. China, end of the Qing period, late 19th early 20th century. Dimensions: 29.5 X 22 X 15.5 cm.
