Empire Crystal and Gilt Bronze Planter Napoleon III Period. Elegant oblong-shaped planter in cut crystal, most likely from Baccarat. Intricately detailed rim and base.

The mount is in richly carved and openwork gilt bronze with fluted decoration, garlands of flowers, scrolls, palmettes, and a row of beads. Base resting on four small turned feet.
