Empire-era mantel clock

  
Elegant French pendulum clock from the early 19th century, in the so-called “drum” form, resting on an architecturally designed patinated bronze base, richly decorated with a gilt bronze motif depicting a flower-filled vase framed by garlands. The circular dial, set within an openwork gilt bronze mount, features Roman numerals and two winding apertures. The movement requires servicing; the pendulum is missing.
