Large Bronze Ewer in Renaissance Style - Second Empire Period, 19th Century. Superb bronze ewer with two patinas and rich ornamentation in the Renaissance taste. The ewer features high-relief portraits in medallions against a background of scrolls and acanthus leaves. The neck is adorned with a mask.

Floral and leafy garlands, along with a frieze of oves on the shoulder. The handle is decorated with ancient women, cut leathers, and a lion's head crowned with palmettes ending in an acanthus leaf.
