Large Bronze Ewer in Renaissance Style - Second Empire Period 19th Century. Stunning bronze ewer with two patinas and rich ornamentation in the Renaissance style. The ewer features high-relief portraits in medallions set against a background of scrolls and acanthus leaves. The neck is adorned with a mask. Floral and foliage garlands, along with a frieze of ovals, decorate the shoulder.

The handle is embellished with antique-style women, cut leathers, and a lion's head crowned with palmettes ending in an acanthus leaf.
