Antique Lighting Late 19th Century Ceiling Light in Bronze and Crystal Napoleon III Period
I am pleased to offer for sale this very beautiful antique light fixture from the Napoléon III period, late 19th century. This type of fixture, which forms a ceiling light in bronze and crystal, has become rarer today on the antiques market. Always of high quality, this model is a flawless proof of that. The golden bronze hook features a floral pattern characteristic of the Napoléon III era. The frosted crystal globe showcases a very nice work of engraved geometric patterns. Of very fine quality, this ceiling light is currently in working condition in accordance with current standards. The power cable has been replaced, but the bayonet socket has been retained to preserve the authentic character of the piece. The globe shows no breakage, no cracks, or chips, even at the attachment claw. The bronze claw shows signs of wear due to age and exposure to the vicissitudes of its life. For a fixture over 150 years old, it remains in very good overall condition.
