21 M of silk and gold thread trimmings from the Napoleon III era

  
21.60 m x 3 cm of silk border with real gold threads, the real gold thread consists of a copper core plated with gold. The trim was removed from a chasuble from the Napoleonic III era and includes 4 pieces of 210 cm, 4 pieces of 120 cm, 12 pieces of 45 cm, and 15 pieces of 20 cm, totaling 21.60 m. This passementerie was likely woven in Lyon or Saint Étienne in France. The condition is quite good despite slight oxidation due to age and minor accidents in places.
