12.2 M x 1.5 cm of silk and real gold thread border, the real gold thread is composed of a copper core plated with gold. The trim has been dismantled from a chasuble from the Napoleonic III period and includes 2 pieces of 320 cm and 2 pieces of 290 cm, totaling 12.20 M. This passementerie was likely woven in Lyon or Saint Etienne in France, and its condition is quite good despite slight oxidation due to age and small accidents in places.
