To prove to us that this beautiful... This engraving after Antoine Watteau was made after a painting preserved in London, at the Wallace Collection INV. It precedes the prints dating from 1719 and held at the BNF and the Louvre, which bear the full name of the engraver "L. Surugue sculpsit," whereas here only "L Sculp" is mentioned. Some wear but not cropped, beautiful 18th-century print, nice inking.
