SUPERB ANTIQUE PENDANT from the 19th century in GOLD-PLATED SILVER with BRESSAN ENAMEL

  

Very beautiful antique pendant from the mid-19th century. Made of vermeil, a well-known yellow gold-plated silver! To be sure of the metal, I tested it with a touchstone. It bears only one hallmark, that of the silversmith (in a diamond shape). The Bressan enamels are in shades of blue, white, and red!

This pendant measures 3.4 cm at its widest point and weighs 6.57 grams. I examined it closely with a magnifying glass, and it is in perfect condition. No cracks or damages on the enamels and no wear on the gilding!

In my eyes, it is truly superb! The items (especially the jewelry) I offer are cleaned (ultrasonic, products, or others), but sometimes I leave them with their patina! I sometimes restore them, and I also check their clasps, prongs, and attachment systems while highlighting any potential flaws, qualities, or signs of wear, and of course, I take responsibility for my mistakes or oversights!
