Miniature Portrait - 18th and 19th Century. Portrait miniature created in the late 18th to early 19th century. Man from the time of Louis XVI or the Directory, dressed in a dark jacket (possibly a simplified civil or military uniform) with gold buttons and a powdered wig typical of the second half of the 18th century. Oval frame in gilded brass, mounting at the back with bent metal teeth, characteristic of period mountings (19th century).

Signs of wear, chipping of the paint in certain areas. Work under glass, therefore protected. Careful and protected packaging for shipping.
