Chair in the Louis XVI style from the Napoléon III period, art nouveau. It is made of black lacquered wood, with a cut-out backrest featuring fluted balusters highlighted in gold and an intricately designed upper band. At the top of the side ends, there are rings with a button at the end. It stands on four slender legs, with the rear ones shaped like sabers, and the front ones tapered with rings, also fluted and highlighted in gold.
The seat is made of red cotton. This chair has been renovated but shows signs of wear and evidence of past pests (treatment done) as it dates from around the 1920s; that said, the overall condition remains good. With its retro style, it can be placed in the living room or bedroom, adding a beautiful vintage touch.Seat height is 45 cm. Back width is 35 cm.
