Very beautiful pair of gilt bronze torch candle holders from the Restoration period of Charles X. On a base with water and laurel leaf friezes, the fluted conical shaft rises to support the chiseled acanthus leaf binet. Original mercury gilding very bright except for the shaft where it has worn off and reveals the metal underneath.
