Curious original gouache on paper, enhanced with gold, from the XIXth century. Dimensions: Drawing on sight: 27 x 19 cm - Frame: 41 x 32 cm. A sutra or sutra is what is called in the West a "classic", a "canon" or simply a "book". The term applies to speculative or philosophical writings written in the form of aphorisms.
