Old Touching Round Tobacco Box in Decorated Copper China 19th Century

  
An old round Chinese tobacco box made of decorated copper. The engravings on the upper part of the lid have almost disappeared; indeed, this box has probably been used a lot, and handling and transport in a pocket or bag have given it quite an incredible patina. The red of the copper is bright and deep, giving it a unique character. Although it is a popular item, its extensive use grants it an excellent place in a good collection.
