Louis XVI-style half-moon console in gilded wood and marble, 19th century

  

Half-moon console table in the Louis XVI style, carved and gilt wood. It is most certainly a Belgian piece of furniture. Set on a fluted and gadrooned Louis XVI base joined by a stretcher with an urn, the apron is richly carved with acanthus leaf and oak leaf scrollwork on the corner blocks. Thick molded marble top, which has been poorly repaired at one corner.

The gilding has been bronzed with a patina. We are presenting this console in its found condition, sold as is, exactly as shown in the photos. Delivery by carrier in a wooden crate on a pallet (bulky packaging), ground-floor drop-off in front of your home, 250 euros in France, 600 euros in the EU, and 1500 euros for the rest of the world.
