Empire style library in amboyna burl veneer with gilt bronze application. It opens at the bottom with two doors revealing a large storage space, a leather-lined pull-out tray for placing books, and two glass doors at the top with storage shelves. The uprights are decorated with busts and women's feet, and bronze nameplates on the doors.
A wide blackened wood net emphasizes the shape of the doors. Removable curtains on the glass doors. Good overall condition, some minor veneer chips. This piece can be disassembled for delivery and installation.
