PLATE IN PORCELAIN FROM THE 19TH CENTURY AROUND 1889 - Universal Exhibition Paris. It depicts the Champ de Mars and the Eiffel Tower during the tenth universal exhibition organized in Paris in 1889, from May 15 to November 6.

It was for this occasion that the Eiffel Tower was built. Spanning 95 hectares, the Exhibition occupied the Champ de Mars, the Trocadéro hill, and the quays up to the esplanade of the Invalides.
