Dessert Knife with Kozuka Handle / Edo Period 19th Century

  
Sublime Japanese dessert knife with a Kozuka handle from the Edo period, dating back to around the early 19th century. The handle is carved on both sides with a beautiful golden decoration that I cannot identify.
