Antique Geode Box in Agate, Napoleon III Period, Display Object, 19th Century

  
Antique AGATE GEODE BOX from the NAPOLEON III period - Display Piece - 19th century.

I am selling a lovely small antique box made from a sliced natural agate geode. A charming object typical of 19th-century souvenir items.

Exterior: Rough rock-like appearance, very authentic.
Interior: Superb natural crystallization with shades of gray, white, and brown. The concentric bands of the agate are clearly visible.
Mount: Brass edging with a pretty flower-shaped clasp.

Condition: Very good overall condition.

The hinge and clasp work perfectly. Please note a few natural signs of oxidation on the brass (original patina).

A beautiful item for a collector of minerals or antique display pieces.
