A heavy enameled copper tray in color. This type of receptacle has been used in many countries of the Middle East.
Its origin is Syria, but the caravan traders allowed this art, like many other things, to be known and appreciated over vast territories. The colors have remained fresh, and the patterns are flowers and grape clusters. The enamel is in good condition, with no chips or missing parts. A good authentic object, this craftsmanship has endured, but the qualities are really very different.
